Even being SAP the market leader in business solutions, there is not wide knowledge about what it is, what it offers and which characteristics differentiate it from the rest of competitors.

The primary reason is that this firm has focused its efforts in corporation solutions, specializing in the bigger ones.

Unless one person has worked in a firm that has implemented it or in a consultancy firm that customizes it, she will not have been in touch with it.

GOAL

The goal of this Introductory Course is precisely to give the student a first idea of what it is, how it works and in the functionality that it offers.

It is directed then, to people who have not have the chance of working with it previously and want to have an idea about it.

It can be useful to decide if it will be worth to focus his or her career in it, as a way of initial entry to afterwards go on studying one of the modules, or simply to get a competitive advantage in a job interview.

It also includes the access to a test SAP environment where the student can interact in real time with the system.

METHODOLOGY

The course is completely online through the Moodle learning platform. It is divided in different chapters that cover all aspects of the SAP ECC 6.0 solution and some of the advanced solutions developed taking it as the basis.

The student will be taking the different chapters at his/her own pace, for what he will have two weeks.

Texts and images where be used to clarify the concepts given.

At any moment the student will be able to ask the teacher any question and to report any possible technical issue. There will be a forum in the learning platform where he or she can post these comments.

The goal is to recreate in an online way a learning environment to transfer this knowledge.
